Bengaluru, March 8: The current NXT women's champion, Asuka might have been closing in for her main roster debut.

She will make a one-off appearance with the Smackdown women's roster at the Madison Square Garden special on March 12th.

This is one big indication from WWE's part to launch one of the most dominant female performers on the blue brand.

As per the latest advertisement was given by the famous arena, she will be replacing Naomi, on that night.

The former women's champion was sidelined for an indefinite time after suffering an unfortunate knee injury at the Elimination Chamber PPV.

She was also forced to vacate her title which was later won by Alexa Bliss.

The MSG special is part of WWE's Wrestlemania tour where the female competitors will perform in an eight women tag team match.

Asuka will join Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, Tamina to take on the team of Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, Natalya, and Carmella. Tamina is an interesting name who should fill the void of Naomi, temporarily.

The inevitable question arises after this advertisement is when can we expect to see Asuka on the main roster?

She has been undefeated during her entire championship reign. She has defeated all the women present in the developmental brand and has nothing left to prove.

In the process of her dominant streak, she is also inching closer to touch the record of Goldberg who possesses a record of 157 straight wins from his WCW days.

Asuka is standing with 150 wins beside her name and should soon tie the record created by “The Myth."

Many do believe that Goldberg's number of wins are 173 and not 157. In that case, she has to spend some more time in the NXT brand to break or tie the record.

We hope WWE will soon address it if they really want her to break the record which is intact for more than two decades.
