Bengaluru, Sep 15: The Australia-born Diva, Emma is one of such talent who is yet to be utilized properly. She was one of the Divas when NXT has just made its debut in Orlando, Florida. Paige and Emma had a tremendous rivalry and some quality matches back then.
Paige was brought to the main roster to become the youngest Divas champion in the history of WWE whereas Emma was paired with Santino Marella in the year 2014.
This pairing did not click and Emma’s career got stuck. She was sent back to the NXT for further improvement.
She also faced an unfortunate shoplifting event causing an immediate removal from the company. However, she was reinstated and paired with Dana Brooke at NXT. The pairing was a hit instantly since they became infamous with their heel acts.
Both received title shots for the NXT women’s championship against the current champion Asuka in NXT Takeover: Respect and NXT Takeover: London.
Their impact was so much that earlier this year prior to Wrestlemania, they were brought to the main roster.
They started by feuding with Becky Lynch after Wrestlemania. Just when it was thought that Emma is to receive a tremendous push, she was sidelined due to a back injury.
Emma was found with a ruptured disc in her back and required to undergo a surgery causing at least six months of her career.
Now, she was supposed to be back in the month of November. But, the latest report from cagesideseats.com suggests that Emma was present backstage on Raw, this past week and is scheduled to be back, earlier than expected. Going by the rumors, mid-October is going to be a perfect time for her return.
In the storyline too, this is going to be a perfect time for Emma’s return since Dana Brooke is all set to break her alliance with the Women’s champion, Charlotte, in the upcoming weeks.
Finding back her partner will give both of them a strong momentum, that they need and certainly they will be pushed to the top of the food chain.
Furthermore, WWE Raw needs a Diva like Emma in this situation since there is still a lack of talent present in the flagship show of WWE.
