Bengaluru, Oct 9: Prior to the No Mercy PPV, tonight, we have a got a seriously bad news for the WWE Universe. We were scheduled to watch the Smackdown Women’s championship match for the night between the champion, Becky Lynch and the contender, Alexa Bliss.

But, it is now being reported that the Becky is seriously injured and will not be able to compete tonight.

F4WOnline.com suggests that the Irish Lass-Kicker has injured herself during her match this past week on Tuesday Night Smackdown Live. The doctors thought that the injury was minor and hence they allowed her to compete at the live events even after that.

The injury got increased due to lack of rest and now being reported as severe concussions. As a result, she will not be medically cleared to compete in her title match. It is not clear yet in which part of the body she had picked up the injury but it is severe enough to keep her away from the match.

We have not got any concrete news till now if there will be a championship match for the night or not. Alexa Bliss will definitely want to have the championship belt handed to her due to Becky’s inability. But, the show-runners for Smackdown Live will like to arrange a certain competition for the title. If the injury takes sometimes to get healed, then Becky might have to relinquish the title, as well. We will have to wait till No Mercy goes on the air on WWE Network, tonight.

It is definitely a bad news for the Irish Lass-Kicker if she certainly has to take a sabbatical due to the injury. She is one of the cornerstones of the current Women’s revolution in the WWE female roster. She was one of the Women’s beside Charlotte and Sasha Banks who came to Raw last year from NXT.

On this year’s Draft, Smackdown had chosen to be the face of their division. She proved it right by winning the inaugural Smackdown Women’s championship. However, just dropping the title at the peak of her time will break the momentum for her. Let’s hope that she recovers very quick.
