Bengaluru, Sept 4: Last Monday Night’s turn of events brought a smile to a lot of hardcore wrestling fans. They started to keep faith in WWE, once again who are now keeping faith on the indie superstars more than their own productions.
If going by the latest happenings then it is evident that the biggest wrestling promotion in the world has understood the demand of the fans and hence focused on the most popular superstars on the roster right now i.e. Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins.
The IWC fans are mush pleased to see Roman Reigns out of the title picture finally after a long time. This is supposed to help the Samoan big dog in turn, too.
With that being said, we are heading towards this week’s Monday Night Raw where we should learn against whom KO will have his first title defense. WWE has recently announced that Owens will have a triple threat match against Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn at the O2 arena in London, England on September 7th.
However, since it is a non-televised live event, no fall-outs and title changes are expected. Though, the British fans will be treated to a super excited match, to say the least.
The televised audience will sure miss the match but however, WWE still finalizing the idea of KO’s next televised title defense at the Clash of the Champions PPV scheduled on September 25th. As per the latest reports, it is going to be a one-on-one bout between Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens with Triple H standing in the corner of Owens.
Rollins is on the verge of turning babyface to face Triple H at next year’s Wrestlemania 33 or even the next big PPV, Survivor Series. Reports also tell that Chris Jericho will also be indulged in the feud making the championship bout a triple threat, at some point.
Also, at the Clash of the Champions PPV, The New Day will defend their tag team titles against the Club members Gallows and Anderson. Also, Charlotte is supposed to defend her championship against Bayley. However, Sasha Banks might return within two weeks and that may turn the Women’s championship match a triple threat.
