Written by: Raja

Bengaluru, Sep 1: The latest reports confirm the fact that Alberto Del Rio is leaving WWE, very soon. It was earlier reported that he has a certain clause in his contract which would allow him to leave the company if he’s not happy with his position.

So, once his suspension gets lifted he might use it and bids adieu to the company. He can practice the clause even in between his suspension days which means Del Rio has competed in his last match in the WWE.

Del Rio has already made up his mind and probably heading to join the Mixed Martial Arts fight. He and his girlfriend Paige was seen in a recent MMA event and intended to shift from pro-wrestling to MMA industry.

Dave Meltzer mentioned in his latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that Del Rio has been removed from the upcoming WWE live events.

The dates include even his suspension is over. This indicates that Del Rio has already chosen to walk off the biggest wrestling promotion in the world for the second time.

Currently, he and Paige both are suspended from WWE for 30 days for the company’s Wellness Policy Violation. WWE has not clarified the reason for the suspension, till date.

Del Rio’s contract with WWE was expired in the year 2014 when he put his hands on a backstage employee.

He slapped the innocent one over frustration. Last year’s Hell in a Cell PPV marked his return to the company where he defeated John Cena for the United States title.

However, he could not capitalize on the success thereafter falling victim of poor storylines, consecutively.

His frustrations reached the limit when he and Paige got drafted to different brands causing a temporary separation between the two.

However, everything is now well with the couple. Although Del Rio is leaving the company, Paige is supposed to stay here in the WWE at least until her contract gets expired in the year 2019.
