New Delhi, Feb 3: It's not new to see Roman Reigns getting booed universally. On this past Royal Rumble PPV, it got even bigger with 65000 crowd giving negative reactions to him.

The reports even said that there were some fans who left the building after Reigns made his entry at number 30 into the Royal Rumble match.

WWE: Jim Ross hinted that Roman Reigns might turn heel for Wrestlemania

Prior to that, he competed in the Universal championship match but thankfully Braun Strowman's interference prevented him from winning the Universal title. But, Reigns earned even more fan backlash by eliminating the Undertaker from the Rumble match.

According to the veteran Jim Ross, WWE is planning to turn Reigns into a heel, finally to give his career a major boost. In his blog, JR said that the Big Dog has to change his character if WWE indeed wants him to pit against the Deadman at Wrestlemania. This, in turn, will make him one of the biggest stars of this industry. This is what JR thinks that WWE will do for the betterment of Reigns:

“Seems to me that WWE is perhaps positioning Reigns to become a villain and if that is true Roman Reigns can be one of the biggest stars in WWE which is always the goal no matter if one is 'fish or fowl.' A great, 'heel run' will obviously do more for Reigns to be eventually become a major fan favorite than anything that WWE can seemingly do at this time.

If Reigns were to defeat Undertaker at WM in Orlando, it would propel Reigns to the next level of villainy and a star would be born one has to assume."

The Undertaker getting eliminated by Roman Reigns gave the fans a clear indication of the upcoming feud between the two of them. It made the Samoan superstar even bigger villain and WWE should use this fan backlash into this feud to make it successful.

For now, Reigns will continue to go after Braun Strowman which might make singles match between them at the next PPV which is WWE Fastlane. From then on, Undertaker might resurface to challenge Reigns for the big Wrestlemania match.
