WWE: Goldberg will confirm his WWE status on ESPN on October 5

By Raja

Bengaluru, Oct 5: Ever since the trailer of WWE video game, WWE 2K17 has been channeled on WWE Raw, the speculation regarding the return of Goldberg is running rampant in the pro-wrestling industry.

The day of the official launch of the video game is coming closer and WWE fans cannot wait to see the former franchise of WCW back inside the WWE ring, once again.

The launch will take place in the month of October, as announced earlier and the promotions are continuing.

Goldberg is also involved in the promotional activities and as a part of it, he will appear on the ESPN Sportscenter's “Off the top rope" hosted by Jonathon Coachman.

The Coach is also a former WWE employee and there he will not only promote the video game but also discuss his current status with the company.

We will learn if a return is on the card or not, in near future. Both Coach and Goldberg made the interviewing official by posting on their Twitter handle.

More interestingly, this past week when WWE Monday Night Raw was on the air, the voice of WWE, Michael Cole confirmed that Goldberg will indeed give some update on ESPN about his return.

The announcement on the WWE's flagship show makes it something intriguing and we can tell you by the looks of it that something is on the cards, definitely.

In the past few years, we have seen dramatic returns from those who have been the pre-order characters on the WWE 2K video games.

The Ultimate Warrior and The Icon, Sting and last year, Stone Cold Steve Austin made it to this list. This year, Goldberg was chosen for those who have already pre-ordered the video game and hence will be able to play as Goldberg in the annual video game created by WWE and 2K.

Goldberg is 49, as of now and is in great shape to return. There has been numerous teasing regarding his return in the recent past. Hopefully, we learn something positive from him during tonight's interview with the Coach.
