WWE: Goldberg opens up about working with the Undertaker

Goldberg spoke about working with the Undertaker for the very first time on this past Royal Rumble match.

Bengaluru, Feb 23: Although we have witnessed The Undertaker and Goldberg sharing the same ring, it was not for a full-fledged match.

It happened twice, once on January 23rd edition of Raw when they had a face-off and then for the second time when Goldberg was eliminated by the Phenome during the Royal Rumble match.

SportingNews.com caught up with the man who returned to the WWE last October for having one last stint.

They went straight to ask about working with the Undertaker for the very first time on this past Royal Rumble match.

These two have never featured on a show or event despite their long careers in WCW or in WWE prior to 2017. This is what the Myth has to say regarding this:

“Yeah. I knew him before he got in the business. We were friends before he started wrestling. It's amazing that we haven't been in the same ring together before.

"I will honestly say that he's probably the one I'm looking forward to introducing myself in the ring more than anyone."

Goldberg continued saying that his return to the pro-wrestling industry was purely on the basis of his family's reaction.

They never saw him performing inside a ring and it was an insane moment. This made him work him harder even at this age of 51. These were his quotes:

“You know, I think the reaction of my son, the reaction of my wife and, you have to say, the reaction of the crowd.

"I'm greatly appreciative than anybody would ever know who I was, especially back then when I was doing my thing, let alone 12 years removed and the welcome that I got. I'm very humbled and it just makes me want to go out and work harder."

The speculations are high on the much-anticipated showdown between the Myth and the Phenome in the near future.

Especially, at this time when he showed his eagerness to work in more matches in the WWE. His final words cemented this possibility:

“I'll knock down whatever they put in front of me. I'd like to get the opportunity to wrestle at WrestleMania again, especially since I've only had one."
