Bengaluru, Nov 30: Brock Lesnar's image of a force to reckon with for the last four years got decimated during the Survivor Series PPV.
The shocking loss in a mere 84 seconds shook the pro-wrestling fraternity all over. Further, we believed in the saying that anything is possible in the WWE.
Even most of the backstage officials and the superstars did not have any clue about the dominant performance that Goldberg put on against the beast incarnate.
As we have seen former WWE superstars and legends expressed their shock regarding the happenings.
He will appear at the Royal Rumble PPV irrespective of a win or loss. But, since it marks the beginning of the Road to Wrestlemania, he is bound to get appear at the 33rd edition of Wrestlemania, next year. He is now an official member of Monday Night Raw, as well.
Also, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that a rematch between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar is in the works.
As per the report, the match was originally planned to take place “more than once." Lesnar was supposed to get the win at Survivor Series by following it with a rematch where Goldberg would have to pick up the win.
But, as reported earlier, Goldberg's less fitness caused the changes in plan. The result was simply to put over Goldberg and make him ready for the upcoming months.
Hence, he encouraged the program and a rematch might just be around en route to Wrestlemania if not at the grandest event, itself.
The advertisement of Goldberg appearing at the 30th annual Royal Rumble PPV in Alamodome would certainly increase the ticket selling and benefit WWE.
