Bengaluru, April 15: It is quite unfortunate that Finn Balor might have suffered yet another injury, just after getting back to WWE TV. It was just two weeks ago when he made his much-anticipated return after a sabbatical of almost seven long months. The audience gave him an ovation on the post-Wrestlemania episode of Monday Night Raw.
But, it looks like that his comeback has yet another bumpy road as he might have damaged his head or neck portion on this past week's edition of Raw. He competed in a match against Jinder Mahal. It marked his first-ever singles competition upon return.
The contest was easily won by him following his pendant move, Coup De Grace off the top rope. But, Jinder's hand-misplacement might have given serious concussions.
Jinder delivered some forearms to Balor's head when the mishap took place. Pro-wrestling sheet posted the following gif from which you can understand exactly when the incident happened.
Although Balor has not suffered any major injury, he is probably going to miss a couple of weeks from now. As per reports from 434 Facebook page, WWE does not want to take any risk with any precaution picked up around the neck. Hence, he will be kept off from television.
WWE has not addressed the situation nor given any updates regarding the injury. They are already suffering several lawsuits filed by former superstars and hence did not want to bring the sensitive topic in public. But, they will take the steps needed for Balor’s well-being.
It is quite unfortunate for the Demon King since he’s been dealing with injuries ever since debuting on the main roster. During his match against Seth Rollins, he tore the pectoral muscle of his shoulder which did not allow him to cherish his Universal championship win.
There might be a sigh of relief for the creative since he is not involved in any feud, right now on Raw. So, they would like to make him fit, as early as possible so that he can perform after Payback PPV is done.
