Bengaluru, Nov 25: The Undertaker’s appearance on Smackdown Live has created a lot of buzz in the pro-wrestling circuit. He is now known for his appearances only in the Wrestlemania but during his first appearance since the WWE Draft, he made it clear that he will no longer be a part-timer. He quoted, "Wrestlemania will no longer define me, I’m back taking souls, digging holes."
He also mentioned that if team Smackdown was unable to put team Raw into "rest in peace", then they have to fear the wrath of the Deadman. It only supports the rumour that he might be a regular member of the blue brand from now onwards. As reported earlier, a match involving AJ Styles and The Undertaker is being planned for the Royal Rumble PPV in January 2017.
The scenario regarding the Deadman got drastically changed from earlier the year. He was rumored not to show up until the Wrestlemania season comes around. Even that was not sure since he was suffering from a back injury.
According to a report from Cagesideseats.com, The Phenom underwent hip surgery to ensure his regular appearance on Smackdown Live. This is the reason he was seen holding crutches in a picture during October. The actual date of the surgery is not known but as per the below given pictures, it can be assumed that mid-October is the time.
However, the same report also suggested that this run might be going to be the final run for him. Wrestlemania 33 will be the last time when he steps his foot inside the squared circle. He might get the send-off match in Orlando, Florida against John Cena or Randy Orton. Taker is no more in his earlier days with the age not in his favor. A regular stint might put his body on the line.
