WWE Fastlane 2017: Preview, prediction and schedule

The Universal championship match will take place between Goldberg and Kevin Owens.

By Raja

Bengaluru, Mar 5: This will be the third installment of the Fastlane PPV which usually marks the final stop before Wrestlemania.

Unlike the previous two years, this year the match card is fully stacked with Goldberg main eventing the PPV in a championship match against Kevin Owens.

This year the PPV will be held as a Raw-exclusive PPV. The BMO Bradley Harris Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin will be the venue to host the event.

The live streaming will go on the air only on the WWE Network from 6.30 AM onwards, tomorrow morning (March 6).

Ten 1 Network will broadcast the event at 6 PM. The repeat telecasts will be channeled on the same network at 8 PM on 8th March and 2 PM on 12th March.

As stated earlier, the Universal championship match will take place between Goldberg and Kevin Owens.

The reigning champion has held the title for over six long months. With the Wrestlemania season approaching, it's time for him to finally drop the title to the Myth.

So, Goldberg should win the title to finalize his match against Lesnar as a championship match. Brock Lesnar is not advertised for the night and hence there're fewer chances to witness him unless WWE brings him in a surprising capacity.

Roman Reigns will get his opportunity to put his hands on Braun Strowman, again. But, the chances of emerging as the winner are less since none other than the Undertaker is expected to interfere here.

This is to ensure his Wrestlemania match against Reigns after what transpired between them at Royal Rumble.

Bayley will defend her Women's title against Charlotte. It is almost guaranteed that the Queen will win back her title en route to Wrestlemania keeping her PPV winning streak intact. She will become a five-time Women's champion with this win.

Sami Zayn will get his opportunity to get his hands on Samoa Joe, finally. But, it is quite unlikely that he will get the win.

Joe has all the momentums by his side with Triple H providing the back up for him. So, the Samoan Submission machine should squash Zayn, just like that.

Neville is expected to retain his Cruiserweight championship to defend it in a ladder match at Wrestlemania.

Furthermore, Gallows and Anderson should also successfully defend their title against Enzo-Cass to set up a triple threat match at Mania.
