Bengaluru, Dec 4: One of the most exciting gimmicks oriented matches is coming back to according to the latest rumours.
The Elimination Chamber concept is probably making its way to the WWE PPV list as per the latest buzz.
During the WWE Network advertisements, we may have spotted the Elimination Chamber logo but did not get it as the finalized one, until now.
The Taking Stick Resort arena in Phoenix, Arizona has given the first update of the PPV’s return on their official Facebook page, as you can see below.
Quite often, the hosting venue started promotion of the big events with months remaining and most of them turn out to be true. Hence, the news might be true.
From another perspective, the news might be legit. From Royal Rumble onwards to Wrestlemania, we will get two PPVs from both the brands. Fastlane is one of them which is confirmed and the other one is going to be Elimination Chamber.
We did not get any further details regarding the announcement except the fact that it is going to be the Smackdown-exclusive PPV.
WWE Fastlane is advertised in the month of March and the chamber oriented PPV will take place in February.
Since tradition wise Smackdown gets the next PPV just after one dual brand PPV, it is going to be a blue brand special one.
Furthermore, Raw previously got the same gimmick oriented Hell in a Cell PPV. So, Smackdown should get this one.
The concept with this Elimination Chamber match is very unique with six competitors fighting in it. Two will start the match while rest 4 will be locked down in separate 4 pods.
They will be allowed to enter into the ring within a gap. Men will be eliminated via pinfall or submission. The last man standing inside the steel structured chamber will be called the winner.
Last time the Elimination Chamber match took place was in 2015. Two chamber matches was conducted for the tag team championship and the Intercontinental championship on that night.
