Bengaluru, Feb 8: As reported earlier, WWE will be returning to the Madison Square garden arena in the New York City for a special live event in the month of March.
The event scheduled on the 13th of the month will be witnessing the main event featuring Kevin Owens Vs Brock Lesnar.
It will be a Smackdown-exclusive house show starring two of the biggest names from the Raw brand.
WWE has released the updated card of that night and here it is:
John Cena Vs Bray Wyatt (WWE Championship Match)
Randy Orton Vs Luke Harper
Kevin Owens Vs Brock Lesnar (WWE Universal Championship Match)
Dean Ambrose Vs The Miz vs. Baron Corbin (WWE Intercontinental Championship match)
Dolph Ziggler Vs Apollo Crews
The American Alpha Vs The Usos (WWE Tag Team Championship Match)
Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, Natalya and Carmella (with James Ellsworth) vs. Nikki Bella, Tamina, Becky Lynch and Naomi
Rhyno, Kalisto & Heath Slater Vs Curt Hawkins and Breezango
There're a few notable things in the card. Seeing the WWE championship match featuring Bray Wyatt, it's a clear indication that John Cena will be losing the championship to the Eater of the World at the Elimination Chamber PPV.
This is certainly a good indication for Wyatt's career who will be defending it against the Rumble winner, Randy Orton at Wrestlemania.
The now advertised Universal championship match at the event might not be contested in the same capacity.
The Fastlane PPV will be over at that point and the chances are less that Owens will still be holding the title on his shoulder.
He is going to drop the title to Goldberg to set up a huge championship match between Lesnar and Goldberg at Wrestlemania.
Whether it's contested for the championship or not, Owens vs. Lesnar is a money match for sure and the audience is going to love it. MSG special always see a stacked card and this one will be no exception.
