Bengaluru, Dec 7: Since the day the mentor turned on the protégé, we have been waiting to take the storyline further. But, the continuation has not happened till date and no indications are coming, either.
We are talking about Triple H turning on his chosen one, Seth Rollins. This is perhaps the biggest swerve that WWE had stored for us since the time the Shield has broken.
Triple H appeared in the middle of the fatal-4-way Universal championship match to screw Rollins from his chance by delivering the Pedigree to him.
Now, it’s been almost two months since then and Triple H has not appeared on the television screen to describe his actions.
As reported earlier, WWE Creative has reserved the storyline perhaps for the Wrestlemania season. But, now reports are coming suggesting that there has been some change in planning.
WWE is under immense pressure with the Royal Rumble PPV which is returning to the Alamodome. The capacity crowd is over 60000 in the venue and to make it a sold out arena they are trying to pull all the stops. Hence, Rollins vs. Triple H will go down from the said arena on January 29, 2017.
However, that will not end their rivalry. The ending will see some sort of controversial finish which will lead them towards the second edition of Rollins vs. Triple H at Wrestlemania. If this report is any indication then Triple H will return to the WWE tv tapings soon.
Rollins was all set to get back his championship inside the Hell in a Cell and post-Survivor Series but got screwed, again. Rumors suggest that Triple H might appear soon now that the Rollins-Owens feud is over. He will be back as the authority figure of Raw starting the rift. This will lead to a match at the Royal Rumble PPV.
It will not be the first time that Triple H and Rollins will go against each other. They competed in tag team matches in the year 2014 when they were part of The Evolution and The Shield, respectively.
