WWE: Chairman Vince McMahon undergoes surgery due to an injury

Bengaluru, Sep 14: As reported by wwe.com earlier this week, Vince McMahon has undergone a surgery following an injury.

It was reported that the injury was sustained during a training session requiring immediate surgery. However, the details of the injury and the severity were not specified.

The chairman of the board still follows a strict gym session and routine to maintain his body. However, we still don't know whether the injury was a result of his excessive workout or a fall out of some earlier issue.

It is still not disclosed if it's a minor or legit one, too. All, we have been told that the billionaire is scheduled to return to the WWE headquarters from today. This is what WWE has posted on their official website:

However, from the last line, we can predict this should be a minor injury since it is not keeping him aside from his routine schedule for a long time. The Chairman does not want to take some time off from his office works, either.

However, rumors are running around the internet telling that this news will be used as part of a storyline in the upcoming weeks.

We have seen the owner of the biggest wrestling promotion of the world in a WWE TV taping, the day when he announced the commissioner name for Raw and Smackdown Live.

We expect him to be back on air, very soon. It might be the Triple H returning issue that had already fuelled a feud between Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon.

However, we will have to wait for WWE's update with the chairman's condition when we get more news on the recent injury.
