WWE: Brock Lesnar’s opponent revealed for post-Survivor Series event

Also, the interesting part of the booking is that Brock Lesnar is keeping his face-heel dynamo ongoing.

New Delhi, Nov 4: Brock Lesnar will be working an extra date for WWE in the month of December. As announced by WWE on its official Twitter handle, Brock Lesnar will be competing against Rusev at the live event from the capital of Mexico, Mexico City.

The event will take place on December 3, just one day prior to the WWE TLC PPV which is a brand exclusive PPV from Smackdown.

This was not for the first time that Lesnar is colliding with Rusev in live event. Earlier this year on the month of February Lesnar has taken Rusev to a tour to the Suplex City. The match has taken place at San Jose, California and did not last longer. Lesnar destroyed the Bulgarian Brute in a squash match en route to Wrestlemania 32. This time, now it's turn for Mexico City to turn into Suplex City for the very first time.

Also, the interesting part of the booking is that Brock Lesnar is keeping his face-heel dynamo ongoing. Hence he is squaring off against a bonafide heel like Rusev. The booking might have also been done due to the fact that WWE wants to keep the fans on toes prior to the Survivor Series PPV about his heel or face persona.

The same thing happened last year during the feud with Undertaker. It was the phenom who was acting like a villain despite being the babyface amongst the fans. This made things interesting back then and Lesnar finished on the winning side of the feud.

The biggest box office attraction of the WWE has already worked in four PPVs in the year 2016. So, we have thought that he might not make any appearance further. However, the match against Goldberg was made official much quicker than thought marking his fifth PPV appearance, this year.

Apart from the PPV appearances he has worked in multiple live events or house shows this year against opponents like Sheamus, Rusev, Alberto Del Rio etc. His last house show was against Randy Orton in Chicago, Illinois.
