Bengaluru, Mar 4: After what went down on Smackdown Live for the past couple of weeks, it was evident that a bigger move was coming to address the state of the WWE championship.
Randy Orton won the Royal Rumble 2017 but he denied to face Bray Wyatt at first. AJ Styles was determined the new number one contender in the process after he pinned Luke Harper for the second time in the singles match.

As a result, the show-runners had no choice but to schedule a match between Randy Orton and AJ Styles to decide a final challenger for the prime gold in the WWE against whom Wyatt will defend his title at Wrestlemania.
WWE.com broke the news on stating that the match will take place on next week's Smackdown Live that is on March 7th. This is what they let us know:
“Who ultimately has the right to challenge Bray Wyatt: the Superstar who won the Royal Rumble Match or the Superstar who won the honor after Orton refused it?
To answer that question, Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan reviewed all that happened this past week and have determined that The Viper and “The Face that Runs the Place" must go head-to-head this Tuesday at 8/7 C on USA Network to finally establish who will take on The New Face of Fear on The Grandest Stage of Them All."
Ever since the draft took place and they were named on the same brand, this was the match that everyone wanted to see.
Chances are high that Orton will emerge victorious in their very first match since the creative has in store the Orton Vs Wyatt match.
On the other hand, Styles will take out his frustrations on Shane McMahon to set up his Wrestlemania feud with him.
