Srikanth, who won the China Open Super Series Premier, will play in the season-ending tournament for the first time.

"I'm very excited to play in Dubai which is such a beautiful city. For the first time we will be playing such a big tournament there with the top-eight players for the year. I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of Indian fans. It will be great fun," Saina said.

There are no Indians in the doubles for men's, women's and mixed categories in the event competed by top eight players in each category.
