They are Prakash Padukone and Pullela Gopichand. Sindhu will face Denmark's Metre Powelson in the first round of All England Championship. If she can progress then she will have to face world's number one ranked player Xu Yieng.

Sindhu can even meet compatriot Saina Nehwal in the semifinal if both progress in their respective pools. Sindhu said, “I want to touch the achievement of Prakash and Gopichand Sir by winning All England Badminton championship. I have been training hard day and night to achieve the goal."

The 21-year-old Hyderabadi shuttler who had withdrawn her name from the Asian Mixed Doubles championship recently due to intensive preparation for the tournament to be held in London from 7th to 12th march.

She added further, “I am not much bothered about the ranking at the moment. I believe I should move up gradually. So far ranking is concerned I feel my progress should be slow but steady. Now my target is to earn the number three ranking in the World. Last year, I had earned success. Still my ranking did not get a lift. It means I have not yet been able to deliver my best in the international circuit. So, I have set focus in this year that I will have to deliver at such a level which can steer me towards third in the world."

Commenting on the current national champion Rituparna Das in the recently concluded national championship Sindhu said, “She is one of my practice partners. That is why I know her very well. She is hugely talented player. I have firm belief that she will win big tournaments."
