New Delhi, Aug 25: India's star woman wrestler and Rio Olympics bronze medallist, Sakshi Malik, on Thursday expressed her desire to meet former India cricketers Virender Sehwag and Navjot Singh Sidhu.

"@virendersehwag Good morning sir , I want to meet u , please tell me time, when u feel convenient,today or tomorrow, Sakshi malik," tweeted the Haryana-based wrestler.
The 'Nawab of Najafgarh' immediately agreed to meet the star wrestler but not without a twist of his pun and humour. The cricketer-turned-commentator asked her not to wrestle with him.

A rousing state reception was accorded by the Haryana government to the Olympic bronze medallist Sakshi after she arrived on Wednesday (Aug 24) from Rio de Janeiro.
Sakshi travelled to Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar district, where Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar along with his senior cabinet colleagues Capt Abhimanyu and OP Dhankar, among others, welcomed the star athlete.
At the grand felicitation function at Bahadurgarh, Sakshi was handed a cheque of Rs 2.5 crore by the Chief Minister. She was also appointed as Haryana's brand ambassador for 'Beti Padhao-Beti Bachao' programme.
