Bengaluru, Oct 19: TNA wrestling promotion’s fate is going bad to worse day by day. Dixie Carter is trying to make things smooth but the inter-state of TNA is not all good, as of right now. The wrestlers under their contract have not got their payment and hence they are not happy.
In addition, the president, Billy Corgan has decided to file a lawsuit against the owner of the company, Dixie Carter, and her husband.
Apparently, he was just named the president of the company when he wants to be named for more of his roles towards the franchise.
He is the mastermind behind some the best gimmicks in recent past like Broken Matt hardy, The Decay and more but Dixie is not interested in investing him into more.
There are serious tensions running between the two of them since the Bound for Glory PPV and Corgan finally decided to get a restraining order against Dixie Carter.
Carter’s problem are rising since there a number of wrestlers who are about to declare themselves free agents and likely to jump ship to the WWE due to non-payment.
TNA is supposed to clear the payments on 15th and 30th of this month. If that does not happen then said superstars are actually interested in having a WWE contract.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter admitted that the situation will be interesting if TNA cannot collect fund in the upcoming days.
There is also some sort of music right issue is going on with the company due to which the theme song of Mike Bennett was not played during the last TV tapings.
Apparently, the theme song was produced by Billy Corgan and hence they were not channeled. POP TV even thinking of canceling the broadcast of TNA shows if they do not resolve the music right issues.
There is also a third party who is interested in buying TNA and that is Anthem Sports. The company is said to be the one who provided a fund to TNA for the last couple of TV tapings.
If the bid made by WWE to buy TNA does not come out to fruition, then TNA is likely to be handed over to them.
