Bengaluru, Feb 12: The news about Nikki Bella’s neck giving her trouble was first given by cagesideseats.com.
It stated that that the pain around her neck is causing her a lot of troubles and she is considering of taking retirement from in-ring competition.
It also stated that Nikki might compete in her last match at Wrestlemania along with her real-life partner John Cena in a match against the Miz and Maryse.
Apparently, this match is still on with a big update about Nikki’s status. This time Pro-wrestling Sheet confirmed that Nikki is indeed troubled by the broken neck from 2015 for which she had to undergo a surgery in January 2016.
But, she will not be leaving the company permanently. Rather she is looking to move into a part-timer role in near future.
Her contract is up once Wrestlemania 33 is done but she will sign a new contract with the company to feature in a role where she will only be wrestling in big events as a part-timer.
Furthermore, after competing in Orlando, Florida, the Bella Queen will take a time off from WWE to give her neck some much-needed break.
The source also confirmed that despite Nikki’s hard trying to overcome the neck issues, it is causing numbness to one side of her body.
So, she is thinking to keep herself away from the ring which might allow her to wrestle in a part-time capacity.
The storyline process to keep Nikki sidelined is also supposedly started after Natalya attacked her during this week’s Talking Smack show.
After Nattie’s onslaught to Nikki, Smackdown GM showed some serious concerns about Nikki facing trouble with the neck, recently.
He also doubted whether Nikki would be able to wrestle with her 100 percent or not on this Sunday’s Elimination Chamber PPV.
Nikki coming back during Summerslam was somewhat an early call. She thought that it would not be difficult for her to go back wrestling for a full schedule.
However, WWE’s hectic schedule is gradually scrambling her body and a time-off might be the right thing for the longest reigning Divas champion.
