Sindhu returned home on Monday (August 22) to a rousing reception in Hyderabad. Amidst all the celebrations, came a statement from Ali, who seems to be not satisfied with Gopichand's coaching. (Who is Sindhu?)

According to "ANI" news agency, Ali said, "We are planning to give Sindhu proper coaching so that she can fetch gold next time." Ali was speaking during the felicitation of Sindhu in Hyderabad after she arrived from Rio de Janeiro. (Kudos to Gopichand)

The 21-year-old Sindhu herself thanked Gopichand at a felicitation ceremony attended by thousands of fans at Gachibowli Stadium today.

Sindhu owed her silver medal success in Olympics to Gopichand and also thanked her parents.

Gopichand runs a world-class badminton academy in Hyderaband and trains several youngsters including Sindhu, Saina Nehwal, Kidambi Srikanth and others.

For his statement on coaching, the micro-blogging website Twitter's users slammed Ali. Ace tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi wrote, "There we go, they seem to have the answer so Maybe we ask them first!!!."
