Bengaluru, Nov 11: John Cena is no more on the same role that he used to be once for WWE. He used to be the guy who can be seen 24*7 for the company both inside and outside the ring.

Now that he is shifting to more to the Hollywood, WWE is finally considering to turn him into a heel.

Now, this idea has been discussed for a long time. But, Vince McMahon never gave the thought a green signal since he is the franchise player for the company.

But, now in a time when Cena is hosting TV shows, award shows and appearing for bigger movie projects, WWE is thinking of introducing a gimmick like Hollywood Cena. It is much similar to the character of Hulk Hogan converting into the Hollywood Hogan character in his WCW days.

With Cena’s current schedule, the role is suitable and might help Cena to win his goal of tying the record 16th World title reign with the Nature Boy, Ric Flair. WWE’s two former franchises i.e. both Hogan and The Rock have shifted to the similar gimmicks after shifting to the movies and hence as reported by Forbes, WWE might pull the trigger, once he returns.

The only problem with the idea is Cena’s clean image to the fans all over the world and especially the kids. Despite being the polarizing figure that he is, he has been the number one social ambassador for the company. He holds the record of granting the most number of Make-A-Wishes, till date. Also, he is the main merchandise seller from WWE, too. The core fans of Cena are mainly the youngsters who might get emotionally hurt if Cena turns into a villain.

Cena accepted that this is the biggest constraint for him and WWE to go for a full heel gimmick. Apart from this, WWE audience would love to see heel Cena since they boo him every single time he shows up in the arena, nowadays.
