Goa, July 24: Michel Salgado's Kochi 5s edge past Cafu's Goa 5s 2-1 in the semi-final clash last night (July 23) to qualify for the final of teh inaugural Premier Futsal. Kochi take on Mumbai 5s in the final today (July 24).
Kochi's Chaguinha scored the opening goal of the match in the 13th minute, but Vampeta equalised for the home side in 22nd minute to restore parity in the match.
The match was going even steven throughout until the 27th minute when the man of the match Chaguinha scored another goal to secure a crucial win for his side and help Kochi qualify for the final.
Chaguinha became the top scorer of the league and thus claimed the golden armband. He has scored 8 goals till now.
