Glasgow, July 26: India won three medals on Friday (July 25) at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. Abhinav Bindra, in his last CWG, bowed out on a high with a gold.
Bindra, Malaika Goel and Santoshi Matsa were India's medal winners on the second day of the competition. After a rousing start with 7 medals, India could add only 3 on the following day.
While Bindra was making his way out of the Games, Malaika, in her maiden Games appearance, made an impact with silver in women's 10m Air Pistol event. The 16-year-old took silver.
Another youngster, 20-year-old Santoshi from Andhra Pradesh claimed bronze in weightlifting (53 kg category).
