Bengaluru, Aug 2: Rio Olympics 2016 is all set to start on the 5th of August. 207 nations will be participating in this year's edition of sporting extravaganza.

Among the 42 sports which will played at the games, football is one of them and 16 nations have qualified for the tournament.

In the previous editions, we have seen some of the world's best footballers taking part in the tournament, namely, Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, etc.

Here is a list of top 10 footballers to watch out for at Rio Olympics 2016:

Neymar (yellow)

Neymar is the main attraction of this year's Olympics. The FC Barcelona star will lead the Brazilian side at this year's game. This will be Neymar's second Olympics participation.


Rafinha is another important star in the Brazil squad at Rio Olympics 2016. The midfielder had several opportunities last season at Barcelona and Rafinha was pretty impressive.

Gabriel Jesus (red)

Gabriel Jesus is one of the best upcoming talents in Brazil has recently joined English Premier League giants Manchester City. Jesus will be crucial player upfront for the men in yellow.

Gabriel Barbosa (right)

Just like Jesus, Gabriel Barbosa too is one of the upcoming talents in Brazil right now. Several English clubs are in hunt to sign the player.

Sven Bender will be an important figure in Germany's midfield at Rio Olympics 2016. The 27-year-old Borussia Dortmund is one of the stars of this German star.

Lars Bender

Lars Bender will accompany his brother Sven Bender in the German squad at the Rio Olympics 2016. He too will be a star attraction in the German squad.
