Paul Pogba set to join Manchester United soon

Manchester, July 21: Manchester United have already 'sealed' a deal for Juventus star Paul Pogba, according to reports of European media.

The media reports suggest, the English Premier League giants who were in hunt for the midfielder since last month, have finally agreed to a deal with reigning Serie A champions Juventus, which involves a world record transfer fee.

The 23-year-old French star will move to Old Trafford this summer for a world record transfer fee of £100m, beating previous highest £86 m of Gareth Bale paid by Real Madrid in 2013.

Apparently Paul Pogba is Jose Mourinho's top target this summer and Manchester United vice-chairman Ed Woodward will leave no stones unturned to bag their man.

According to the mirror, the midfielder will earn £210,000-a-week at the club, which is luring him to complete the move.

Paul Pogba was a member of Manchester United's youth setup. He was promoted to the senior side in 2012 by the then manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Unfortunately, things did not shape up well for the youngster as he managed to earn just 7 caps in the entire season.

Sir Alex then sold the player to Juventus on a free transfer in the succeeding season. Since then the player has come a long way by establishing himself as one of the best midfielders in the world right now.

Spanish giants and reigning UEFA Champions League winner Real Madrid too are keen on signing the young midfielder, but as it seems, the Red Devils are the front-runners.

Ed Woodward did not travel to China with the team in the pre-season tour, which stirred up the speculation, that he is working hard on the world record deal and will land Pogba to Old Trafford.

Another thing which connects Pogba to United is the player's agent Mino Raiola, who has already secured moves of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to the club this summer.
