However Kom has not received any response as of now from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
In the letter signed by the Secretary of the Academy, it is written that Kom had sent an invitation in January 2015 but there has been no response from the PMO yet. A reminder was sent to the PMO again on Jan 15, 2016 but there was no response.
It was then that Kom took to Twitter to draw PM's attention. Kom has requested that if the PM is unable to attend they would make alternate arrangements for the inauguration so that the youth can avail the facilities there.
