Liverpool transfer news: Mario Balotelli to join Nice, Mamadou Sakho to leave on loan

Liverpool, Aug 31: Liverpool ready to offload to of their players on the deadline day. Italian striker Mario Balotelli close in on signing for Ligue 1 side Nice and French defender Mamadou Sakho to leave on loan.

Balotelli, who had joined the club in 2014 from AC Milan had a nightmare of a campaign with The Reds. After a dreadful first season with the Merseyside club, the striker joined back AC Milan on loan.

Unfortunately his second stint with Milan was a total disaster as he hardly got opportunity to start for the Italian club.

This clearly indicated his end of Liverpool career as manager Jurgen Klopp was clearly not interested in bringing back the player to his squad.

According Sky sources, Balotelli is currently in the South Coast of France trying his best to conclude a deal with Nice in order to move away from The Reds.

Another Liverpool star Mamadou Sakho is also on his way out of the club after Jurgen Klopp indicated that the French defender was not part of his plans.

Sakho has already rejected two loan offers from West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City. But as it seems Liverpool will try hard to offload the defender by today (August 31).
