Bengaluru, Feb 25: The only Olympic Gold Medalist in the history of the WWE is back in the company as part of the Hall of Fame ceremony, this year.
He was the first inductee for the class of 2017. It was a delight for the WWE Universe who wanted to see the legend back here after a hiatus over a decade.
He confirmed that there are no chances of seeing him wrestle at Wrestlemania 33 but he will sit down with the creative soon after the event is over.
Angle commented: "I will not be wrestling at WrestleMania but we will find out soon after that whether I will wrestle [for WWE] or not, There are so many guys I would love to work with because the roster is so well-groomed"
He also intended to guide the young talents in the WWE, specifically the American Alpha being their manager, at some point. Here are his words regarding this:
"They remind me so much of Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin in the old Team Angle, while this Gable kid also reminds me a little bit of myself, so I would be happy to manage them to some extent."
There have been some constant speculations with the role of Kurt Angle once he returns to WWE television after Wrestlemania 33.
The most suited option for him is to replace Mick Foley. The present Raw GM is supposed to take some time off after the biggest event and the void should be filled with a bigger name who can be a major star attraction to the flagship show.
