Ahmedabad, Oct 7: The Kabaddi World Cup 2016 is all set to begin here on Friday (October 7), as defending champions and hosts India will kick-off kabaddi extravaganza with their inaugural match against South Korea.

India, under the leadership of skipper Anup Kumar, are considered top contenders for the trophy. The organisers as well as players from 12 competing nations are hoping to take the game to new heights of popularity across the globe.
