London, Mar 12: Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has criticised Chelsea players for their reaction to his Champions League red card, branding Chelsea '11 babies' at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday. (PSG stun Chelsea, enter quarters of UEFA Champions League)
The Sweden international was dismissed after 31 minutes following a collision with Chelsea midfielder Oscar, with the likes of John Terry, Nemanja Matic, Gary Cahill and few other players surrounding Dutch referee Bjorn Kuipers immediately after the challenge.
"When I saw the red card, all the Chelsea players came around. It felt like I had lot of babies around me."
"It was an amazing performance because we were playing with one less, even in extra-time, so they should have all the credit they can get. They played with big hearts. We showed quality and big heart," he added.
Earlier in the match, Chelsea defender Gary Cahill opened the score for Chelsea in the 81st minute, but a thunderous header from David Luiz equalled the score and gave the PSG 1-1 at full time and took the game to extra time. Eden Hazard gave Chelsea the lead after handball from Silva in the penalty box, he converted the penalty to give Chelsea the lead 2-1.
Thiago Silva then headed home as PSG battled back from 2-1 down in extra-time to book their place in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, After the match, Ibrahimovic hailed his teammates for recovering despite being down to 10 men.
