Heena Sidhu wins gold, Shweta Singh bags silver on final day of Asian shooting meet

New Delhi, Sep 30: Heena Sidhu and Shweta Singh signed off the Indian campaign on a high note by clinching the gold and silver, respectively, on the final day of the Asian Air Gun Championships here on Wednesday.

It was a close fight between the two Indians at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range with Heena finishing on the top of the podium with a total of 197.8 in the final round.



Shweta followed closely behind with 197, a considerable distance ahead of Seon Kim of South Korea who took bronze with a total score of 175.8.

Yashaswini Deswal, the third Indian in the fray, finished fourth with a score of 155.3.

India finished the event with a medal haul of two gold, two silver and two bronze medals.
