The Gunners are 10 points behind league leaders, Chelsea and are currently placed fourth in the table. They most recently lost to Bayern Munich 5-1 in the Champions League round of 16 first leg tie.

So Arsenal virtually out of Champions League yet again and realistically do not have a chance to with the EPL title either.

Since their 'invincible' season in 2003/04, Arsenal have only won 2 FA Cups. This has clearly increased the frustrations among the fans and they now want Wenger to leave the club.

Speaking about Wenger's situation, Pep Guardiola opined that it is unfair to hurl so many criticism at a legendary manager like Arsene Wenger.

Guardiola said: "What I hear in the last 10 days, about how people, ex-players, journalists treat Arsene Wenger is unacceptable.

"Our job, in that moment, doesn't have any respect for any position, so it is unrespectable, what happened.

"That is why we take the decisions and you can say whatever you want."

Pep Guardiola himself is under lot of pressure in his debut season in the English Premier League. His team is at the second position in the league table, 8 behind Chelsea.
