Romaric scored the only goal of the match in the 81st minute to seal three crucial points for the Highlanders.

NorthEast United FC are in the 6th position in the league table with 14 points from matches. They one less point than Atletico de Kolkata and FC Pune City.

FC Pune City, on the other hand, will have tough times now. They have 15 points from 12 games. The last two games become virtually must win for Antonio Lopez Habas' side.
