Atletico de Kolkata is the only team in the history of ISL to reach the last four stage in each of the three editions.

India international CK Vineeth who is on a goal-scoring spree at the moment netted the opening goal of the match for Kerala Blasters in the 8th minute.

Within 10 minutes though, Kolkata's Scottish midfielder Stephen Pearson scored the equaliser which was enough for them to earn a semi-final spot with one game in hand.

Atletico de Kolkata, thus, become the only team in the history of ISL to reach the last four stage in each of the three editions.

They had won the title in the inaugural edition and lots to Chennaiyin FC's in the two-legged semi-final last season.
