Guwahati, Oct 1: The Hero Indian Super League kick-started its campaign with a grand opening ceremony at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati.

It was a star-studded affair at Guwahati as Bollywood stars and celebrity cricketers graced the occasion. Actors Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Jacquelin Fernandes performed at the ceremony.
Indian Cricket Team's limited overs captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who is also the co-owner of defending champions Chennaiyin FC was present along with legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar who co-owns Kerala Blasters.
