Chelsea defeated Swansea City 3-1 while Tottenham Hotspur crushed Stoke City 4-0 to claim the second position in the league table.

Bengaluru, Feb 27: English Premier League (EPL) witnessed really exciting clashes during the course of the weekend with Tottenham Hotspur claiming the limelight.

Tottenham clinched the biggest win of the game week beating Stoke City 4-0 at home thanks to a hat-trick from their star striker Harry Kane.

As Manchester City's game against United was canceled due to the English Football League Cup final, Spurs go above Manchester City to claim the second position in the league table.

In another important clash, Chelsea extended their lead further at the top of the table with a convincing 3-1 win over Swansea City.

Cesc Fabregas, Pedro and Diego Costa scored for the Blues while Fernando Llorente scored the consolation goal for Swansea.
