Mexico City, March 14: Mexico's football referees have decided to end their strike after the Mexican football federation, Femexfut, agreed to their demands.
Members of the Mexican Association of Referees (AMA) shut down football over the weekend. Their aim was not to demand higher salaries or fewer games, but to secure stiffer penalties for players who get aggressive when they disagree with their calls, Xinhua news agency reported on Monday, March 13.
