Initially the Manchester United bosses had doubts over the fitness of the 35-year-old striker. As a result he was offered a one-year contract.

Zlatan's performance so far has been overwhelming and according reports from Mirror the club officials are highly impressed with the star. Thus, a fresh contract might be offered very soon.

Ibrahimovic has so far scored 4 goals in 4 matches in the English Premier League including a goal against Manchester City yesterday (September 10) in which they eventually conceded a defeat.

Nontheless the charismatic striker has been a major influence at Old Trafford and is definitely one of the most important players at the club.
