La Liga game week 6: Roundup, results, team of the week

Bengaluru, Sep 26: La Liga game week 6 was a mixed bag of results as giants FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid won their respective matches but Real Madrid were held for yet another draw.

Barcelona have managed to reduce the gap with league leaders Real Madrid to 1 points. Real lead the charts with 14 points while their arhc-rivals are second with 13.

FC Barcelona thumped 5 goals past Sporting Gijon on Saturday (September 24). In the absence of an injured Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez stepped upto the occassion and guided their team to glory.

Atletico Madrid too won their match against Deportivo 1-0 thanks to a strike from their star player Antoine Griezmann. They too have climbed up the ladder and moved to third position, a point behind FC Barcelona.

Only disappointing result was Real Madrid's yet another draw which came against Las Palmas. Cristiano Ronaldo returned to action this weekend but had a disappointing outing as he failed to score or create any chance for his team.
