Kolkata, Dec 8: Before they take on Mumbai City FC in their semi-final in the third edition of Indian Super League (ISL) on December 10 at Rabindra Sarobar Stadium, Diego Forlan seems to be the only man in Mumbai City FC.

Forlan has been the point of discussion among the defenders in Atletico de Kolkata, Arnab Mondol, Preetam Kotal and the custodian Debjit Majumder.

ISL 3: ATK defence seems scary for Deigo Forlan's deceptive passes

Arnab who has been representing ATK for last three consecutive seasons, said, “Forlan is the key man in Mumbai City FC attacking flair. It is not because he has the same speed and reflex on the top box as he had before. But now he plays from little deep, behind the forwards.

And his peripheral vision is so accurate that he can still send the defence splitting passes. That is why, he is the key man and he is the most dangerous player in Mumbai City FC."

Preetam Kotal who also has been very consistent in the ongoing ISL with his team agreed with Arnab and analysed, “First of all, Sony Norde and Sunil Chettri, the deadly strikers of Mumbai City FC will be more lethal only when Forlan guides them with sharp passes.

Secondly, Forlan can fall back at the time of opposition team's counter attack. And the Uruguay World Cupper can also send accurate long passes as well as being one of the World's top class strikers he has not yet lost his scoring ability."

Diego Forlan has already executed his famous free-kicks in the ongoing ISL. And his free-kicks has resulted goals only.

ATK custodian Debjit Majumder who has participated in the team's 13 matches so far and earned applauds being consistent seems worried on Forlan's free-kick.

He said, “Forlan's free-kicks are highly deceptive. He looks towards a different side just before unleashing the shot. And his punch has late swing in the air which becomes almost impossible for the goalkeepers to anticipate."
