Manchester, Oct 15: Former FC Barcelona teammates Pep Guardiola and Ronald Koeman come face to face on Saturday evening as Manchester City take on Everton in game week 8 encounter in the English Premier League. [EPL schedule of Game week 8]
Guardiola and Koeman were an integral part of Johan Cruyff's dream Barcelona team of 1992 and were roommates during their tenure with the club.
Manchester City's dream run in the league under Pep Guardiola came to a halt last game week when Tottenham Hotspur defeated them 2-0 at the White Hart Lane.
They are still at the top of the table though with 18 points from the first 7 matches. Everton too have had a great run under newly appointed Koeman. They are fifth the table with 14 points from as many matches.
Kick-off: 7:30 PM (IST)
Venue: Etihad Stadium, Manchester
The match will be telecasted LIVE on Star Networks and Hotstar
Manchester City are all set to welcome back star attacking duo Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne who missed out on the Spurs game last game week due to injuries.
Captain Vincent Kompany too will be back to squad although it is unlikely that Guardiola will keep in the first team.
