The win takes Jurgen Klopp's side to 59 points from 30 matches and keeping their hopes alive of qualifying for the champions league by finishing among the top 4 teams.

Manchester United succumbed to yet another draw as they were held to a disappointing draw by West Bromwich Albion. Jose Mourinho's side got several chances but failed to score even once.

The biggest shock of the game week was Chelsea conceding a defeat against Crystal Palace. Sam Allardyce's side defeated Conte's men 2-1 away from home. Chelsea's lead at the top is now reduced to 7 points.

On Sunday (April 2), Manchester City and Arsenal played out an exciting 2-2 draw and thus spicing up the title race as well as the race to finish among top 4.

Leroy Sane gave Manchester City the lead early in the match but Theo Walcott equalised. Just at the stroke of half time, Sergio Aguero restored the lead for the Cityzens.

Centre back Shkodran Mustafi scored the second goal for the Gunners within 10 minutes of second half.
