EPL game week 29: Roundup and results

Bengaluru, March 19: English Premier League (EPL) game week 29 kicked off on Saturday, March 18 with giants Arsenal going down 1-3 against West Bromwich Albion.

It was yet another embarrassing defeat for Arsene Wenger's men as they succumbed to their fifth defeat in the last 7 matches.

Alexis Sanchez scored the only goal for the Gunners as Tony Pulis' men showed complete dominance against terrible Arsenal side.

Arsenal are slowly drifting away from the top 4 spot and maybe for the first time in Wenger's career that his team will not feature in Champions League next season.

In another important game, Chelsea defeated Stoke City 2-1 to widen the gap at the top of the table. Willian and Gary Cahill scored for the Blues as they move inches closer to winning the coveted title.

Super Sunday, March 19 kicked off with Manchester United beating Middlesbrough 3-1 to finally climb up the table from 6th to 5th position.

In the headlining match of the game week, Liverpool and Manchester City played out a 1-1 draw. James Milner gave the Reds the lead but Sergio Aguero equalised for the Cityzens.
