The headlining match of the game week featured league giants Chelsea FC and Manchester City. Antonio Conte's Chelsea outclassed Pep Guardiola's Manchester 3-1 to retain their top position in the league table.
Gary Cahill's own goal at the stroke of half time gave Manchester City the lead. But the Blues were back in the game soon and scored 3 goals to seal the fate of the match.
Eden Hazard, Diego Costa and Willian were on target to guarantee Chelsea full three points.
In another important match, Arsenal took on London rivals West Ham United. Alexis Sanchez scored a splendid hat-trick as the Gunners cruised passed the Hammers 5-1.
Liverpool, on Sunday, suffered a shock defeat at the hands of AFC Bournemouth. The Reds were leading the game 3-1 till 75th.
Bournemouth came back strongly and scored 3 goals in quick succession to shock Liverpool.
In the last match of the game week, Manchester United yet again succumbed to a draw as Everton hold them for a 1-1 draw.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic's brilliant goal gave them the lead in the first half. Unfortunately, the Red Devils conceded a late penalty and Leighton Baines netted the equaliser from the spot.
