Atletico Madrid president speaks on Griezmann's move to Manchester United

Madrid, Feb 8: Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has finally spoken on the ongoing speculation of Antoine Griezmann joining Manchester United in the coming summer.

Cerezo, speaking to Spanish radio station COPE, clarified that Griezmann is happy and satisfied playing for the Atletico and in now way will he switch club next season. [Griezmann wants to join Manchester United]

Enrique Cerezo was quoted: "Every time I see Antoine I give him a hug. Antoine is a fantastic player and loves life at Atletico."

The French attacker had signed a contract extension last June which would keep him at the club until 2021. The contract also had a €100 million release clause.

Recent rumours in European media suggests, that Griezmann will be moving to Manchester next summer and the club has already agreed personal terms with the player.

Also Manchester United's star midfielder Paul Pogba is playing a great role in persuading his Franc teammate.

Yesterday, February 7, Griezmann's image advisor had suggested that a move of his client to Manchester United will be a great commercial success.

Also, it will be a dream come true for Antoine Griezmann to wear the iconic Manchester United number 7 jersey which was earlier donned by his childhood idol David Beckham.
