Arsenal demolished city rivals West Ham United 5-1 on Saturday, December 3, in game week encounter at the London Stadium.

Alexis Sanchez scored a spectacular hat-trick and Mesut Ozil and Alex-Oxlade Chamber found the back of the net as Arsenal cruised past West Ham.

Arsene Wenger was in all praise for his players for such a magnificent performance.

Speaking to the media, the manager said: "We can do better. There is still room for improvement.

"Since the start of the season, the quality of our finishing compared to our chances is quite good. Much better than last year.

"We miss only 20 per cent of our chances, last year we missed much more."

Wenger understandably was ecstatic but kept a firm check on his emotions so that the celebrations does not go over the top and make the team complacent.

Arsenal certainly look as a strong contender for the coveted Premier League title. It has been more than a decade since the Gunners had won the title.

In between they have won 2 FA Cups and 1 Community Shield.
